Hi all!

The OPN and FoFF team have been wondering if there would be OPN member interest in supporting with the potential coordination of bulk feed and/or seed purchases. We know some of you already have your own local systems and structures in place (feel free to share lessons learned!) but that some have been overwhelmed by the idea of trying to find and coordinate with other local producers to get a better price for those larger purchases at the beginning of (or throughout!) the season.

A few questions -

What suppliers do you recommend? Are there any you avoid and why? Anecdotal information is fine, that's what member forums are great for!

Are you able to meet your needs with local suppliers and pickup or are you paying freight charges for out-of-state orders?

How often are you making large/bulk orders for feed or seed throughout the season? What is a general range of the size of orders you're making?

We're just gathering information at this point but would love to hear your experiences and lessons learned! Let us know what you think...

Hi,

We have a property between Gold Beach and Port Orford with a herd of feral cattle. We are looking for the right group with the proper equipment to coral and remove said cattle. We are giving them away for free as it has become an issue. If interested please email me back or call at (831) 620-5944.
