Naked Acres Farm
Naked Acres is a mid-sized farm raising livestock and vegetables in Beavercreek, OR.
Production Practices
Pasture based, free-range, heritage flock of about 160 chickens for eggs and 1,000 per year for meat. We have a small herd of goats to provide milk for soap making. We are also raising Katahdin sheep and Dexter cattle as well as heritage breed pigs for meat. All of our animals are raised in an outdoor natural environment and are Animal Welfare Approved (AWA). We believe that animal welfare is paramount to our success in animal husbandry. Our sheep and cattle are also Certified 100% Grass Fed and our entire farm is ASPCA approved.
We rely on proper pasture rotation and work hard to improve pasture quality to ensure the healthiest diet possible for all our animals.

Grazing, Pasture and Nutrient Management Practices
We are working hard to continue to establish proper pasture rotation techniques. We use intensive grazing practices which ensures that the pasture is optimally grazed and then allowed to regrow to an appropriate height before being grazed again. Over-seeding of the pasture is done when a greater diversity of grasses is desired to attain a higher nutrient profile.
