We are a certified organic farm on the Oregon coast specializing in Dorper lamb, chicken, eggs, haylage, and vegetables.

Production Practices

Grazing, Pasture and Nutrient Management Practices

Sheep sleep inside at night for protection from predators, but are on pasture all day from light to dark. Chickens have access to pasture 100% of the time once fully feathered out and able to withstand the outdoor temps.

We use manure slurry in the fall over selected portions that will not have animals on them for 3 months or more. Conditioning in the summer in fall as needed by careful light mowing (3 inches at a time). We let pests exist and do not manage them.
